General Cooking Directions:
Pour 3 cups milk into a 2-qt. saucepan. Put on medium heat and stir while adding entire contents of 6 oz. soup package. Simmer for 8 - 10 minutes, stirring. Do not allow boiling. Soup will achieve a smooth creamy texture in approx. 10 minutes. Makes 4 1-cup servings.
Be creative! - Add products to the soup for texture and taste. A few examples:
Onion or Mushroom: Add 1/2 small can of asparagus tips. Garnish with dill sour cream. {our dill dip would be perfect}
Crab: Add 1/4 lb crabmeat.
Broccoli: Add 1/2 cup frozen chopped broccoli.
Tomato: Garnish with a dollop of sour cream and chives, or our dill dip.
